Why this school exists.
Niraj Kafle
Founder, Saarathi Academy
An active full-stack AI engineer who spent years building scalable web systems and API layers. He founded Saarathi to create the exact practical engineering mentorship he wished he had early in his career.
Everyone fires prompts now. The difference is between “it works” and “why it works”. That difference is what we built this school to teach.
The decisions a course factory never makes.

The questions people actually ask
We are an engineering school, not a training center. Mainstream institutes pack 40+ people into a room to read slides. Saarathi caps batches at 10, teaches computer science fundamentals underneath abstractions, and requires you to ship deployed systems. The focus is on proof of skill, not attendance.
Saarathi is for motivated learners, beginners or career-switchers, who want high-standards, honest mentorship, and are willing to put in the hours at home to build real software. If you just want a quick, easy certificate, we are not the place for you.
You begin with the Saarathi Gate Assessment. It is a logical reasoning diagnostic that helps us understand your learning pace and place you at the right level. There is no pass or fail.
Capped strictly at 10. Never thirty, never fifty. This allows mentors to read your code, refactor it with you, and guide you 1-on-1 every day.
No. We evaluate logical aptitude, not prior memorized syntax. Complete beginners and experienced developers both start at the right level based on the Gate Assessment.
Week 1 is entirely focused on mindset and study systems. We set expectation levels, teach troubleshooting methodologies, debugging instincts, and how to read documentation. We get your headspace right before writing code.
We offer both formats. In-person batches run at our Old Baneshwor classroom in Kathmandu. Online batches run under the exact same 10-student cap. Our physical labs stay open every Sunday for open classroom practice and peer debugging.
Engineering-grade CV reviews, LinkedIn profile audits, mock technical interviews, and referrals to our hiring network. We prepare you to pass actual production interviews.
Yes, but only if you pass the hands-on Saarathi Certification Exam. However, the real certificate is your deployed, public portfolio. Employers care about what you can ship, not a piece of paper.
Fees are published upfront on each course page in NPR with no hidden charges. We offer need-based scholarships. The booking fee is 30% of the course fee and is non-refundable. If you clear the full fee at admission and then decide not to continue, you can request a 50% refund in writing within the first 7 days of class.
Absolutely. We encourage you to drop by our Old Baneshwor office, see the classroom, look at current student projects, and talk to mentors. Decide after seeing the work, not a slide deck.
In a batch of 10, it is impossible to fall behind quietly. We review your progress daily, run revision sprints every fifth class, and keep the labs open on Sundays. If you get stuck, your mentor reaches out to unblock you.
