Common questions

What makes Saarathi different from other IT training providers in Nepal?

Every batch is capped at 10 students, so you get direct mentor time and a pace tuned to you. The curriculum is project-first: every module ends in a deployed, public project, and mentors are working engineers and designers, not full-time lecturers. Classes run in our Old Baneshwor classroom, with a free Sunday Open Classroom for pair-programming.

You graduate with a portfolio, CV, LinkedIn profile, a 1:1 mock interview, and the Saarathi Certificate of Completion (earned by passing the end-of-course exam).

How do admissions work at Saarathi Academy?

Start with the inquiry form on the admission page, a WhatsApp message to +977-9761095364, or a visit Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM. Our team helps you pick a track that fits your goals and current skill level.

Before your batch begins you take the Saarathi Gate Assessment, a short diagnostic (not a pass-or-fail exam) that produces a personalised plan covering pace, focus areas, and weak spots. Seats are capped at 10 per batch and fill quickly, so apply at least four weeks before your target start month.

What courses does Saarathi Academy offer in 2026?

We currently offer 14 programs: 11 career programs and 3 skill modules. Career programs include Full Stack Development with Vibe Coding, Data Science & Machine Learning, Cloud Computing & DevOps, Cybersecurity & Ethical Hacking, Software Quality Assurance, Digital Marketing with AI, Graphic Design & UI/UX, Video Editing, AI Engineering & Machine Learning, Advanced Security, and Backend Engineering. Skill modules cover Project Management, No-Code Generative AI & Automation, and System Design.

Every program is project-first: you build something deployable each module and ship a capstone. See all courses for fees, durations, schedules, technologies, and seats remaining.

How long are the programs at Saarathi Academy?

Career programs run 5 to 14 weeks of guided learning, with the capstone in the final weeks so you ship a deployed, portfolio-grade app before demo day. Short modules such as Generative AI & Automation for Everyone (No-Code) run 4 to 8 weeks.

Classes typically run 5 days a week with 2 to 3 hours of live mentorship per session, plus self-study. Exact duration, weekly hours, contact hours, and start dates are on each course page under all courses. Sunday Open Classroom hours are extra and free for enrolled students.

Are Saarathi classes online or in-person in Kathmandu?

In-person is the default. Core mentorship runs at our Old Baneshwor classroom in Kathmandu, Monday to Friday, with recorded sessions and online office hours so you can revisit lessons. Sunday Open Classroom is in-person and free for enrolled students.

Select cohorts run fully online for learners outside Kathmandu Valley, live over video with the same 10-seat cap, mentor access, project reviews, mock interviews, and capstone deployment. Unsure which fits you? Book a consultation and we will help you choose.

Do I need a programming background to apply to Saarathi?

No. Foundation tracks such as Full-Stack Web, Frontend, Mobile Development, UI/UX, and Digital Marketing need no prior coding, and many students start from zero. The Gate Assessment measures aptitude and learning readiness, not existing technical knowledge, so you cannot be filtered out for being new. We just expect curiosity and daily practice.

Advanced tracks such as Backend Engineering, Data Engineering, AI/ML, and Cloud/DevOps assume familiarity with one programming language, basic Git, and the command line. Unsure if you qualify? Take the Gate Assessment and we will recommend a foundation track or a short bridge module first.

What career and job placement support does Saarathi Academy provide?

We do not guarantee jobs, but career support is built into every track. You leave with a deployed capstone, a resume reviewed by working engineers, a LinkedIn audit and rewrite, at least one 1:1 mock interview (technical and behavioral), and direct referrals to our hiring-partner network in Kathmandu and remote-first companies.

We also help you prep for whiteboard rounds and negotiate offers. Outcomes depend mostly on your own work: how well you ship, how visible your GitHub is, and how seriously you take interview prep.

What are the fees and payment options at Saarathi Academy?

Career programs typically range from NPR 19,000 to NPR 55,000, and skill modules from NPR 12,000 to NPR 35,000, depending on duration and toolkit. Exact fees are on each course page under all courses. We accept cash at the office, bank transfer, and Fonepay.

Interest-free installment plans (usually 2 to 3 payments tied to batch milestones) and need-based scholarships are available. Refunds apply within the first week of class if the program is not the right fit; terms are in your enrolment agreement. For pricing, scholarships, or group rates, contact [email protected] or +977-9744442469.
