Refund Policy

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to every fee you pay Saarathi Academy — program tuition, seat-booking deposits, instalments, assessment fees, and event tickets. It does not cover charges made to you by third parties such as payment gateways, banks, or providers of optional course materials, which are governed by those third parties’ own policies.

2. Cooling-off window for new enrolments

• Before your batch begins: you may cancel for any reason up to forty-eight (48) hours before the official batch start date and receive a full refund of program tuition. The non-refundable seat-booking fee, where applicable, is retained.
• Within seven (7) days of your batch starting: if you decide the program is not the right fit within the first week of live classes, you may cancel for a pro-rated refund of program tuition. The cost of the classes you attended (calculated on a per-session basis), the seat-booking fee, and the assessment fee are deducted from the refund.
• After the seventh (7th) day of classes: tuition is non-refundable. We have already committed mentor time, classroom capacity, and operational cost on your behalf.

3. Cancellation by Saarathi Academy

• Batch cancelled by us: if we cancel or postpone a batch before it starts and you do not wish to switch to a later batch, you receive a full refund of all fees paid, including the seat-booking fee.
• Course substantially changed: if we make a material change to a published syllabus, mentor, mode, or schedule before the program starts that affects your ability to attend, you may cancel within seven (7) days of the announcement for a full refund.

4. Non-refundable items

• The Saarathi Gate Assessment fee, once you have taken the assessment.
• Seat-booking fees explicitly marked non-refundable on the invoice.
• Workshop and event tickets within seventy-two (72) hours of the start time.
• Digital materials, recordings, and certificates already issued to you.
• Bank charges, payment-gateway fees, and currency-conversion losses applied by your payment provider. These remain with the third party.

5. Instalments

If you pay in instalments, only instalments actually received are eligible for refund consideration under this policy. Future instalment obligations are released once a refund request is approved in writing.

6. Code-of-conduct dismissals

If your enrolment is terminated for a breach of the Code of Conduct in our Terms of Service — for example harassment, cheating, redistribution of recordings, or unauthorised access — no refund is due.

7. How to request a refund

1. Email [email protected] from the address registered on your account with the subject line “Refund request — [your program] — [your name]”.
2. Include your invoice number, the amount paid, the payment method, the date of payment, and a short reason. Supporting documents are welcome but not required.
3. We acknowledge within two (2) business days and decide within seven (7) business days. Complex cases may take up to fifteen (15) business days, during which we keep you updated.
4. Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days from the approval date. Payment-gateway processing time is outside our control.

8. Disputes

If you disagree with our refund decision, reply to our final email within fifteen (15) days asking for a second review. A senior team member who was not involved in the first decision will look at your case and respond within seven (7) business days. Their decision is final under this policy. If you still disagree, the dispute resolution process in our Terms of Service applies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version that applies to a paid fee is the version published when the fee was paid. We keep prior versions on request.
