Niraj Kafle is a Nepali software engineer and the founder of Saarathi Academy, an IT training institute in Old Baneshwor, Kathmandu. He works as a full-stack AI engineer and learned to build in the pre-AI era, self-taught from documentation and his own broken code until the fundamentals stopped being magic: how HTTP moves a request, how a database thinks, how a SQL join works, how a server runs. His turning point was a senior mentor at work who showed him how engineering actually runs inside a company. He started Saarathi in 2025 to be that guide at scale, capping every batch at 10 students and refusing the lecture-hall model most Kathmandu institutes run on.

An active full-stack AI engineer who spent years building scalable web systems and API layers. He founded Saarathi to create the exact practical engineering mentorship he wished he had early in his career.
